Origin of the motif

Berlin · Summer

Photographed by Anna Lea Theodocion. Like “I – Ascent,” “II – Light Point” was created during an encounter with the city's architecture, though in a different location. While “Ascent” leads the gaze upward along clear lines, “Light Point” directs it toward a quiet center within the space. Two distinct places thus become a shared visual concept: movement and stillness, ascending and arriving.

About the Artist

Anna Lea Theodocion combines fine art photography with a poetic visual language. From nature, architecture, and light, she creates serene pictorial worlds of timeless presence.

More about the artist →

“II – Light Point” picks up the movement of “I – Ascent” and leads it into stillness. Where lines guide the gaze, light itself becomes form. Between geometry, space, and silence, a timeless composition of clarity and serenity emerges.

As a diptych

“I – Ascent” and “II – Light Point” were developed as companion pieces. While “Ascent” leads the gaze upward, it finds its quiet center in “Light Point.” Together, they create balance, depth, and architectural stillness.
