FAQ
How sharp are the prints?
Our fine art prints are made from high-resolution original files and produced with professional print quality.
For quick display on the web, preview images and mockups are compressed. The online preview is solely for illustrating the motif and may differ from the actual print quality depending on the screen, browser, zoom level, and internet connection.
The delivered print is always produced using the high-resolution original file.
Which papers are used?
Our fine art prints are produced on high-quality, museum-grade papers. Depending on the motif and finish, carefully selected materials are used to ensure excellent color reproduction, fine details, and long durability.
How long does delivery take?
Each artwork is custom-made after your order.
Production and delivery time usually takes 4–10 business days. Depending on the product, destination country, and shipping provider, delivery time may vary slightly.
Are the artworks made to order?
Yes. All fine art prints, framed prints, and canvases are produced only after your order is received.
This way, we avoid overproduction and can produce each artwork freshly for you in the highest quality.
Are frames included?
That depends on the product variant chosen.
• Framed fine art prints are delivered including the frame.
• Unframed fine art prints are delivered as unframed prints.
• Canvases are already stretched on a high-quality stretcher frame and are ready to hang immediately.
The respective version is clearly marked on the product page.
How is my artwork packaged?
Each artwork is carefully and securely packaged for transport to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
Fine art prints are shipped flat or rolled – depending on the format – in sturdy protective packaging. Framed artworks and canvases receive specially padded packaging that reliably protects them during transport.
Can I return my artwork?
Yes. Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. In addition, we offer a voluntary right of return of a total of 30 days after receipt of the goods.
Please note that custom-made or personalized products may be excluded from the right of withdrawal and return in accordance with legal provisions.
If your artwork is damaged, faulty, or incorrectly delivered, please contact us immediately. Together, we will find a suitable solution as quickly as possible.
Further information can be found in our cancellation policy.
What frame sizes are available?
Our framed fine art prints are available in various sizes. You can find the available formats on the respective product page.
If you would like a different size, you can contact us at any time.
What's the best way to hang the picture?
Framed fine art prints and canvases are ready to hang immediately.
For a harmonious effect, we recommend placing the artwork at eye level and leaving sufficient distance from furniture and other pictures. This way, your artwork will be optimally showcased.
How do I care for fine art prints?
To ensure your artwork retains its quality for a long time, we recommend:
• Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
• Dust only with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use cleaning agents or moisture.
• Hang framed works indoors with normal humidity, if possible.
This way, your fine art print will last for many years.
Can I request a custom size?
Yes. For selected artworks, we offer custom sizes upon request.
Simply write to us using the contact form. We will gladly check which individual formats are possible for your desired motif.
How accurate are the depicted sizes and proportions?
The room shots and product representations are for illustration purposes and convey an impression of how an artwork can look in different interiors. Depending on the room, perspective, and representation, sizes and proportions may differ slightly from the actual product.
The dimensions and specifications stated on the respective product page are always authoritative.
Why does the same artwork appear to be a different size in different room shots?
The effect of an artwork changes depending on room size, wall area, furnishings, perspective, and viewing distance. Therefore, the same format can appear larger or smaller in different room shots.
Only the dimensions stated on the product page apply to the actual size of the artwork.
What do the detail shots of an artwork show?
Detail shots show selected sections of the motif in an enlarged view, making fine structures, contrasts, and photographic details more visible.
They serve for closer examination of the motif and do not represent the actual size of the artwork.
Are colors displayed consistently on every screen?
Not always. Colors can appear slightly different depending on the screen, brightness, color profile, and device settings. This is due to technical reasons and is normal.
Our product images are created with the utmost care and reproduce the original artworks as faithfully as possible.
Is a work card included with my artwork?
Selected Fine Art Prints and framed Fine Art Prints come with a specially designed work card from Theodocion Fine Art – connecting the artwork, studio, and its history.
The work card is currently available for orders to Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Availability may vary depending on the product and production.
Premium canvases are currently excluded from the work card.
