A single pink rose emerges against a deep olive-colored pictorial space, composed, present, and entirely self-contained. The starting point is an original photograph, which was subsequently developed into an independent fine art composition. As the third work in the “Blütenwesen” (Floral Beings) series, “III – Gegenwart” (III – Presence) completes the movement of the preceding works. After appearance and encounter, the gaze returns to a single counterpart, no longer searching, but calmly grounded in itself. Rosé, coral red, olive, and warm natural tones lend the work a quiet, sensual presence, making it particularly effective in warm, earthy interiors.
